Why Consignment?

  • Avoid the hassles of newspaper ads and allowing strangers into your home. 
  • Garage sales bring low prices and a limited number of shoppers.                        
  • Auctions do not guarantee reasonable prices.

 How It Works

  • Small items can be brought into the store during business hours.  We will be happy to come to your home to inspect larger items.  Call for an appointment.  We accept only items in good to excellent condition ready for the showroom.  Items requiring cleaning or minor repair may be subject to a small cleaning fee.

Pricing

  • Pricing of consignmed items will be set by Choice Collections based on desirability and condition and any additional input from the consignor such as age, original cost, etc.
  • The sale price of items will be split 50%/50% between Choice Collections and consignor.
  • Consignment will be for a 90 day period with items reduced 10% after the first 30 days and 30% after 60 days.  Items not picked up after one week after the expiration of the agreement will become the property of Choice Collections.  Select items may be renewed for an additional 90 days.  This is not automatic.  You must call the store to make arrangements.

Payment

  • Payment for items sold will be mailed on the 10th of the month following the sale of the item.  All checks will be assessed a $2.00 administration fee.   For amounts less that $20.00, you may call the store for pickup.
