Choice Collections Consignment is conveniently located in Clermont  Florida, close to the attractions, Orlando, and The Villages in the heart of Central Florida.

Eight (8) years ago, in February 2003, Choice Collections Consignment Home Furnishings opened its doors at 664 W. Montrose Street in Historic Downtown Clermont, FL. The store is located directly across from City Hall with ample parking and an easy stroll to other shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The store is open Monday-Saturday from 10am-5pm.
 
Five years later, in April 2008, Joan Woodruff, Interior Decorator, joined the shop as an independent vendor. Most currently on January 1, 2011 Joan and Patty Packey acquired ownership of Choice Collections, Inc.
 
Recycle, restore, renew is the adage of the times. Consignment does exactly that… it recycles, restores and renews the life of items. Should you be looking for quality furniture and accessories, at a more reasonable cost, consignment is the way to go. Or if you need to dispose of your  gently used items, a consignment store provides an alternative to advertising your furnishings, inviting strangers into your home as well as collecting funds.
 
The 2400 square foot showroom is set up in vignettes to showcase different styles of furniture and decorating ideas. It is also a great place to purchase items for the home at a fraction of the cost of buying new. The inventory is constantly changing making it a must place to shop often. Items move quickly and usually there is just “one of a kind” available. “You snooze-you lose" is heard a lot at the store.
 
Buying expensive furniture does not assure that the piece is quality. It is more important to find a quality piece at a great price. Consignment stores provide this option. There are so many wonderful, quality pieces available to you right here in your own back yard. Rather than a “Big Box” store LOOK (that someone else has assembled for you), go out and have fun, search for a piece that knocks your socks off. Develop your own style by building a room, and then another one, full of wonderful pieces that welcome you home every time you set foot in the door. The search is half the fun, but be patient…this happens over time, most probably not in one shopping trip.
 
To get more tips on home decorating or to find out more about the consignment procedure you may stop by the store any time. Consignments are accepted Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. It is best to call ahead (352-394-7817) to make sure there is room to display your treasures. We will inspect larger pieces at your home. We accept furniture and accessories in excellent condition with no tears, stains, pet hair, odors and they must be structurally sound. Some wear on vintage and antique items is expected. No chips or cracks on glass or ceramics pieces, please.

 HOW IT WORKS

Small items, no more than 15 per month, with a value of $20 or more may be brought into the store during business hours Monday-Friday. We will be happy to come to your home to inspect larger items. Call for an appointment. We accept only items in good to excellent condition ready for the showroom. Items requiring cleaning or minor repair may be subject to a fee.
 

PRICING

  • Pricing of consignment items will be set by Choice Collections based on desirability and condition, as well as, any additional input from the consignor such as age, provenance etc.
  • The sales price of items will be split 50/50 between Choice Collections and the consignor.
  • Consignments will be for a 90-day period with items reduced 10% after the first 30 days and 20% after 60 days. Items not picked up after one week following the expiration of the agreement will become the property of Choice Collections. You must call the store to make arrangements to pick up any unsold pieces.

PAYMENT

Payment for items sold will be mailed on the 10th of the month following the sale of item. All checks will be assessed a $2.00 administration fee. For amounts less than $20,00, you may call the store pickup.
